Mission: We are passionate about helping children in disasters and with other special needs. There were terrible storms in 2011 and it will take years to recover - they need our help.
August 27, 2011: Hurricane Irene hammered the North Carolina coast with wind and rain leaving 200,000 people without power. It tracked up the heavily populated East Coast and more than 2 million people were told to flee the New York City area. The New York City transit system shut down for the first time because of a natural disaster. Due to massive flooding, it will take years for people that lost their homes to recover.
On the ground help: We provide emergency rescue and relief, counseling, education, and other support for children and their families. Our donors rely on us to provide smart relief, both directly and through communities and our partner charities.
Our Beliefs: We believe in high ethics and helping people quickly. We also believe in transparency and stretching every dollar as far as possible. - Ten Doves provides emergency rescue and relief for children, food and clean water, shelter, and helps bring families back together. Our donors rely on us to provide smart relief, directly and through communities and our partner charities. There were terrible storms in 2011 and Ten Doves helped Sendai Japan and Joplin Missouri (click here for recent events); and
- Ten Doves performs various social and health research projects focused on children's issues and chronic ailments effecting both children and adults. We publish our reports to help others and raise awareness and funding.
